Elizabeth Gatewood is an accomplished photographer and aspiring memoirist based in Omaha, Nebraska, though her roots trace back to the Appalachian Mountains.

What began as a high school hobby has evolved into nearly a decade-long pursuit of storytelling through the lens. During her time in the U.S. Air Force, Elizabeth volunteered with Public Affairs, where she met an experienced photographer who encouraged her passion. Before long, she became a sought-after wedding and family photographer, capturing life’s most meaningful moments with honesty and artistry.

After four years behind the camera, Elizabeth shifted her focus toward marketing—where her creative instincts and intuitive understanding of people found a new outlet. In 2023, she joined Anthony’s Automotive Detailing as Creative Director, revitalizing the brand’s social media presence and visual identity. Within a year, her efforts helped earn the company an Omaha Magazine “Best of Omaha” award, marking a major milestone in its growth and recognition.

Now, Elizabeth continues to merge creativity and storytelling across her photography, writing, and brand design work, while pursuing her debut memoir exploring identity, family, and resilience.
