About Elizabeth

Elizabeth DeVolld is a self-taught photographer from Dayton, Ohio. Her passion for photography began when she modeled for her mother as a child. As she grew up, she quickly grew to love being behind the lens, rather than in front of it. In high school, she began taking photography classes, and after graduating high school she began to pursue photography professionally. In addition to serving in the United States Air Force, Elizabeth also manages her own photography business.

She specializes in portrait photography but enjoys doing commercial work on the side. Throughout the car season, she regularly attends car meets and events with her ‘96 Miata and partner, who has a G37 and an S2000. He specializes in automotive photography, and they often work together. When traveling to see family, she captures the scenery from her travels and sells prints in local stores.

In March of 2020, she was published in Omaha Magazine for her work with the Black Lives Matter movement. As of January 2022, she is a member of Professional Photographers of America and is an accredited business under the Better Business Bureau. In the spring of 2024, she is projected to graduate from Liberty University with a degree in Digital Design with a concentration on Photographic Design and a minor in Business. After she completes her bachelor’s, she plans to continue her education and earn a master’s.

When she isn’t out taking photos or doing homework, you can find her at home crocheting or editing photos with her partner and cats, Binx and Salem.
