new year, new me!

Friends, meet Elizabeth Gatewood Photography.

I think you're going to like her.

That’s right, I changed my name!

2022 is almost over and I've spent the last few weeks reflecting on the year. As I decide my goals for 2023, I'm motivated for a new start. I've decided to make a few goals for myself and this business I've established over the last few years.

First and most importantly, my #1 goal is to NEVER STOP LEARNING.

Going full-time this year has taught me a LOT and I can't wait to share everything I've learned with you. I'm going to start creating educational content to share with you the little tips and tricks when it comes to wedding things, planning, & more.

I'm also going to work towards a certification in photography through the Professional Photographers of America. I've been a member of the organization for a year now, and my goal is to learn as much as I can from this organization and many others so that I may declare my candidacy for certification by 2024!

Second, I am going to build my business model around offering a BETTER CLIENT EXPERIENCE.

You are what makes it possible for me to do my dream job and you deserve the best service possible! In order to do that, I now offer online booking through my website to streamline the booking process and free up your valuable time! I also offer products for purchase that can even select to add on during booking!

Additionally, before sessions, I highly encourage consultations-and now they're included in the session! Consultations are an excellent way for us to meet and discuss our artistic vision and goals BEFORE the session. This allows me to fully develop a concept for the art we are creating and provide you with the best results possible. You can even book them in my Online Booking tab!

That brings me to my last goal-TO CREATE TRUE ART.

It's so easy for me to get caught up in the service-based part of photography and forget that you have hired me for my creativity. This year I'm committing to creating true art in every session I do. No longer will I allow my work to look the same as every other photographer's. This year, I vow to create true and unique art!

Strap in, because we're all in for a great year!

Yours Truly,

Elizabeth
